Our In-Shop Process

At The PC Guys, we make the repair process simple and transparent. Our shop is open Monday–Friday, 9 AM–6 PM for drop-offs and pick-ups. We operate on a first-come, first-served basis for diagnostics and repairs, but if you need urgent service, we offer an emergency priority option for an additional fee, ensuring your device moves to the front of the line.

How it works:
  • Drop-Off & Check-In – When you bring in your device, we’ll take the time to understand the issue, log it into our system, and answer any questions you may have.

  • Diagnostic Fee – A $50 diagnostic fee is collected at drop-off. This fee is applied toward the repair cost if you approve the service.
  • Diagnosis & Approval – Once we diagnose the issue, we’ll contact you with a detailed explanation of the problem, the necessary repairs, and the estimated cost.
  • No Surprises – We never proceed with repairs or order parts without your approval. If you decide not to move forward, the diagnostic fee remains as the cost for our time.
  • Pick-Up & Completion – Once the repair is complete, we’ll notify you that your device is ready for pick-up.
